Remedial Massage
Remedial massage can stimulate the blood supply, increase joint mobility, and help to repair damaged tissues. We will aim to balance the length, tone and tension of muscles and tendons, which restores the correct position of the bones, increases blood flow and helps heal injuries.
Easing and stabilising the muscles can improve problems such as headaches, neck pain, low back pain, sciatic pain amongst many other ailments.
Techniques used at Ease focus on releasing tight trigger points within the muscles, as well as loosening the outer connective tissue that surrounds the muscles and body. This connective tissue is called fascia and we can’t wait to tell you all about how important fascia is when you come in for a treatment!
Trigger point dry needling is a treatment technique, which uses small needles to release tight muscles with the goal of permanently reducing muscle pain and dysfunction. Manual Therapists around the world are now using this technique to effectively treat acute and chronic orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
Dry needling deactivates myofascial trigger points which should stimulate a healing response in that tissue and reduces the biomechanical stress of the muscle treated.

Myofascial cupping
Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that involves the application of decompressed cups on the skin, creating a vacuum effect that lifts up underlying tissues such as the fascia (connective tissue) and muscles, blood and other fluid, close to the surface of the skin. By lifting up these tissues, it allows space to increase fluid and hydrate the muscles and fascia.
